To aid Grant Anderson #V37 to get back on his feet

I have been inundated by messages from so many of you asking if there is a ‘gofundme’ page for Grant so that they can assist him in getting back on the horse.

I have started this fund at the request of numerous supporters to show love, support and kindness toward the Anderson Monds Racing pilot great, Grant Anderson, and to assist him to get back on his feet after the humongous crash at Murray Bridge Speedway during the Australian Championship Final, in the fight of the A1.

Most do not know what this man has recently sacrificed, not just for family, but for racing.

Due to my lengthy hospital stay in September and October and finally home hospital, Grant had to take reduced hours and used up all available sick leave and holiday leave, and therefore has not had an income since Christmas, but there was no way he’d miss a season, and figured he’d make it work somehow. But big guilt from here.

Now without the use of his hand, and possible other injuries, he cannot return back to work- and I am sure the stress is killing him. You know the pressure he puts himself under to perform.

I love the guy, and if I can do anything to make his life a bit better in the darkest of times, I will- and so it seems, many of you feel the same way.

Do what you wish, there is no expectation, it’s just an avenue if you wish to assist.
