Fuck Cancer

My litter sister Maqana is a BADASS. She was a combat medic in Iraq for 18 months. She put herself through nursing school and is a practicing recovery room RN in Anchorage.  A few months ago, she and her husband Jason bought  their first house! After turning 41 in July she had her first screening mammogram. My BADASS baby sister- who is also a mom and a wife- was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in her breast. On Sept 6th she will have a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. We are hoping this is all the treatment she will need. Her recovery will be long and she'll need time off of work.  My mom and I are hoping we can help make it a little less stressful by throwing out a gofundme campaign.
