TNT Safe Nights Initiative: A Safe Night Can Change Everything

A safe place to sleep should never feel out of reach.

Every day, individuals and families throughout Milwaukee face unexpected housing crises. Some are fleeing unsafe situations. Some have been suddenly displaced. Others have exhausted every option and simply need somewhere safe to stay while they figure out what comes next.

That is why TNT Empowerment Network created the TNT Safe Nights Initiative.

TNT Safe Nights provides short term emergency lodging assistance for individuals and families experiencing housing instability or an immediate housing crisis. Along with temporary lodging, we help connect people with community resources and longer term support that may help them move toward stability.

Assistance is provided on a first come, first served basis and is always subject to available funding.

Your Donation Helps Provide

• Emergency hotel and motel stays

• Short term lodging assistance

• Emergency food and basic necessities

• Transportation assistance when available

• Housing and community resource referrals

• Safety measures needed to provide Safe Nights assistance securely through the TNT Resource Center

As Safe Nights grows, we also want to make sure people seeking help can connect with us in a safe and secure environment. A portion of funds may support necessary safety improvements connected directly to providing Safe Nights services through our Resource Center, including improved entry and door security.

Every Donation Makes a Difference

$25 can help provide food, hygiene items, or other basic necessities during an emergency.

$50 can help with transportation or other immediate crisis needs.

$100 can help provide a night of emergency lodging.

$250 or more can help provide multiple nights of emergency assistance and critical resources for an individual or family.

No donation is too small. Every contribution helps us respond when someone in our community reaches out and says, “I don’t have anywhere safe to sleep tonight.”

Sometimes we cannot solve everything overnight.

But we can help provide one safe night, one safe place, and support toward the next step.

No one should have to face a housing crisis alone.
