Hi my name is Haley. I do TNR on the neighborhood strays on linden street. I have tnred about 23 cats so far and have been able to adopt out 8 of the friendly ones. I’ve reached out to numerous rescues and vets to ask for help with funds/ discounted spays and they either have been too overwhelmed to help or I don’t get a response. The vet I currently go to is in Hayward and costs me $180 a cat. I’ve ran one other go fund me fundraiser which helped a lot but besides that I’ve been covering all the costs completely on my own. I cannot continue to fix these feral cats without help from my neighbors. Many close neighbors have voiced to me how the cats are a nuisance but no one seems to be willing to donate to my cause so I’m hoping some generous Nextdoor users will be able to fund the last round of spays and the next round as it’s impossible for me to do this with no support. On January 28th 2023 I got 4 fixed, resulting in a $700 bill and before I can make another appointment I need to make sure I secure the funds for another 4. Please consider donating so we can stop the overpopulation issue of ferals on Linden street.
