Tina’s Tumor

Hi I am Jessica and I am raising funds on the behalf of my best friend Tina who was diagnosed with a Craniopharyngioma tumor and underwent brain surgery to have it removed. Surgery is complete and they were able to remove it in its entirety which is great news! The tumor was connected to her optic nerve causing vision loss, in time her vision should return. It was also pushing on her pituitary gland and causing unexplainable and dramatic weight loss as well as energy depletion the last few months. Tina will have to undergo regular MRIs and possible localized radiation just to make sure the mass does not return. We are still waiting on the biopsy to come back to have a definitive answer on if the tumor was benign or cancerous. Tina will have to be on a hormone replacement therapy but we hope with all of your prayers and petitions to God this will only be temporary. The power of prayer is the ultimate medicine.
