As most of you know, Dan and I recently took in Steve's cat after his passing to help ease her transition into a new home for a happy retirement. Since coming into our care, Susie has been the sweetest kitty - she loves being hugged and pet, loves toys, and is overall such a good girl!

At her initial vet check-up, we discovered a mass on her mammary chain which is likely (85-95%) cancerous. fine needle aspirations for these types of masses tend to come back inconclusive, so the only way to determine exactly what we’re dealing with is through surgery to remove and biopsy her tumor.

We know Steve would want nothing but the best for his girl, so we plan to move forward with this procedure so we can better understand Susie’s condition and give her the best chance at comfort and quality of life.

We (Susie included!) appreciate and thank you for anything you can do to help. If our goal happens to be exceeded, anything additional will continue to go towards Susies care and any further treatments or medication.
