God has been AMAZING to us by bringing us together after we had both made individual decisions to live out our lives for Him. For example, we were determined to live out our singlehood God’s way and by our wedding in May we will both have lived out 8 years of celibacy. This is to God’s glory because we want to please Him with our lives, but it is also to show our precious loved ones (my nieces, Misty’s sisters, and any future children we have or mentor) that this type of lifestyle can be lived out contrary to the norms of this world.

 

While Misty and I are putting money aside each month to pay for wedding and honeymoon expenses, we have decided we would accept a challenge of faith to ask for donations through GoFundMe. So, full disclosure – we need approximately $10K to cover the wedding costs ($5700), honeymoon costs ($2600) and the initial apt costs and moving expenses ($1700). This goal is to see how far faith can take us toward having greater financial peace if we can use the money we raised to settle our debt and start saving toward a house purchase.

 

Thanks in advance for even considering our ‘cause’. There are a lot of great and even more important things to give to but we are grateful that you made time to read our request even if you are not compelled to give for our wedding.
