First Responder's Family Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart and a sincere request for your support during an incredibly challenging time for our family. Many of you know that I am a flight paramedic in Colorado; however, since June, I have been unable to work due to a severe ankle injury. I recently learned that I need surgery to stabilize my ankle, which will keep me from returning to work until at least April, leaving us in a precarious financial situation.
As if that weren’t enough, we recently faced another devastating blow. My fiancée, Gina, has been suffering from terrible shoulder pain for the past few months, and after much hesitation, she finally saw an orthopedist. Tragically, the initial MRI revealed a metastatic tumor, and we have since learned that she is facing stage 4 lung cancer.
We are doing our best to navigate these difficult circumstances, but the financial strain of medical bills, treatments, and daily expenses is becoming overwhelming. It is not easy for us to ask for help, but we will need assistance to get through this challenging time.
Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. Your support will not only help alleviate some of our financial burdens but also give us the strength and hope we need to face this tough time head-on.
We are incredibly grateful for your generosity, love, and support. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.
