Hey yall! Marissa here. I’ve been given the opportunity to run the United Airlines NY Half Marathon this March as part of the CurePSP Team. PSP took the life of my father in August 2022. As many people with PSP are, my father was misdiagnosed for several years. My mother, siblings, and I advocated for a different diagnosis over and over, but due to the lack of awareness around PSP, our cries often fell upon deaf ears. Losing my father was tragic but I do not want for it to be in vain. I want to advocate for those who are still with us. I want to advocate for the families who are still fighting the good fight. CurePSP is working tirelessly to create more awareness around this horrific disease, and more importantly, fight for a cure. Please support me in raising money to run with the CurePSP team as we join together on a mission for a cure.
