Support Hope's Road to Recovery

Hi Everyone,

This is Hope's son, Zach. As most of you already know, she was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident when she was hit by an SUV. She has sustained extensive injuries, and the surgeons have placed her in a medically induced coma. She is currently undergoing her fourth surgery.

She has suffered multiple fractures, including her shoulder, arms, legs, fingers, wrists, ankles, and many bones in her face. She is currently breathing with the help of a ventilator. She will be spending the next three months in the trauma and intensive care units at Gulf Coast Hospital before beginning the next phase of physical therapy in one of the recommended cities. She will have to relearn how to walk.

My mom has always been the rock in my life, and as an only child, this has been especially difficult for me. She is a phenomenal woman with so many amazing friends, and I cannot thank you all enough for the love and support you have shown. The outpouring of kindness has been overwhelming.

Our family has flown in from across the country to support one another. This will be a long, challenging road to recovery, but we are holding onto Hope.
