Hello reader, my name is Desiree and this GoFundMe is for my cat Paisley. Paisley is a 12 years old tabby, I adopted her when she was 5. When I first brought her home she was timid and aggressive, but over the years she has grown to be the sweetest, silliest, most needy lap cat you could ever meet. She means everything to me.

Recently, Paisley started having what appears to be a serious issue with her eyes. They seem incredibly sore, watery and raw. She can barely keep them open.

I can only afford to have her seen by a vet at the end of October, but her eyes seem to be getting worse rapidly. I'm afraid waiting that long will not only keep her in pain, but lead to something more severe. My vet is unfortunately not able to accept payment plans. The humane society charity is not accepting any new clients until 2026, so they recommended GoFundMe.

The initial examination will cost $125CAD then the rest of the funds will be used to purchase the medicine that she will need.
