Brooklynn Strong
Donation protected
My name is Patricia W., and I have created this campaign for my friends Trenity, Brett, and their daughter Brooklynn.
A few weeks ago, Brooklynn came down with a fever. She was taken to the hospital but ultimately sent home to let it run itself out. Within a few days, they decided best to return to the hospital and run tests as she wasn't improving.
Brooklynn was showing low blood cell count among other things. She was taken to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. On July 31st, her family was given a heartbreaking diagnosis of Leukemia.
Their family has a high-school-aged son Brett Jr. and 2-year-old Brooklynn. Brooklyn is extra special as she is a rainbow baby. Her family cherishes each milestone knowing the journey it took for her to be here.
I am asking for donations to help their family with pending medical and other bills. They need to focus their time and energy on Brooklynn. This came at an unexpected time and COVID-19 is making the hospital trips harder on the family.
So much is still unknown and I can't thank you enough for taking the time to read and share her story.
Update: Brooklyn's Leukemia has been diagnosed as Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). Mom, Dad, and Brooklyn's spirits are high for the upcoming battle. Please continue to pray and I thank all who have shared and/or donated.
