We are reaching out to share the story of our dear friend and fellow musician, Dwight, who has recently experienced an unimaginable tragedy.
On February 1st, while proudly leading his students from Angleton High School at the Texas Color Guard Circuit Drumline competition, an active shooter entered the venue and opened fire. In the chaos, Dwight was shot in the shoulder and had to be LifeFlighted to a hospital in Houston. We are incredibly grateful that he survived, but his road to recovery will be challenging. Despite everything, he is staying strong and maintaining a positive spirit.
As he navigates this difficult journey, we want to rally around him with support. We'd like to help him cover medical expenses, especially those associated with being life-flighted, physical therapy, and loss of income while he recovers at home. It would mean the world to Dwight and his family if you could contribute in any way—whether through donations, sharing this message, or simply sending well wishes.
