Hello, I'm Dua and I've started this page to raise funds for a service dog. I've had a plethora of medical conditions my entire life that have caused significant and constant chronic pain and fatigue, but I don't want to live in the shadows of my disability.

Independence is something I've come to terms with never fully having but putting that responsibility onto another person is just not in my cards. After careful deliberation with myself, close family, and my doctors, we've decided that a service dog is most suited to my needs. The price for a well-bred, reliable dog is steep and difficult for me to achieve on my own which is why I am asking for your help.

I hope you can donate however much you can, I really hope I can reach my goal before September so I have adequate time to spend training the puppy in time for university. Thank you!

Additionally, I would like to make it clear that this fundraiser is for the initial cost of the puppy and will be taken down after one has been procured. My Personal Independence Payment from the government is going into savings for any and all other needs such as food, toys, vet bills, insurance, etc. I understand my responsibility to the dog itself and I do not want to take more than I need from anybody.
