Support Rob's Road to Recovery

Hi! My name is Terra and Robert and Nicole are my bother and sister in law. As some of you know Rob was in a terrible car accident Friday, June 7th. A truck turned into him and he had to be cut out of the car and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. His injuries are severe and he had to be transferred to Harbor View in Seattle for additional scans and care. Today he had the first of what may be multiple pelvis surgeries. He also has fractured ribs and a broken ankle and they are still figuring out everything that is injured. He will most likely be released into a rehabilitation center when he is out of the hospital and will be in a wheel chair for months at least. If all went well he might be home in 5 months. He wouldn’t be able to be back to work before Christmas or New Years if everything went perfectly. This will be a VERY long road to recovery. As many of you know Rob and Nicole are foster parents and have guardianship of 2 boys, Levi and JJ ages 10 and 2 as well as fostering a baby girl. I am hoping to take one burden off of them which is finances. This is going to be unbelievably stressful and expensive recovery. Their only car was totaled and they will have to get a new vehicle, navigate Rob being off work for so long when he is the primary income, and travel expenses to and from the hospital and so much more. I’m hoping to help raise money for upcoming bills, costs while insurance is sorted, time out of work, and all of the travel expenses and food and help for Nicole as she will be taking care of everything on her own for quite awhile.
