On July 25, Hurricane Hanna destroyed my parents home of 20 years. The wind managed to knock down an electric pole into the master bedroom of my parents home. Thankfully my parents were staying at my home this weekend.  The entire roof has collapsed into their bedroom and both restrooms with water coming in. There is extensive damage to walls, floor, and all of their furnitureis gone.

As many of you know my mom was hit by a drunk driver almost 5 years ago and was left unable to work. My parents have always been the most hardworking people I know. Even after her accident she tried to go back to work but was unable to. Since then they have been a one income family with my dad even having to leave home to find a job with better pay.

This year my mom has been a blessing and allowed me to have peace of mind while I work because she came to stay with us so that Colton would not have to attend daycare.

I know COVID has put a strain on some people’s finances but any donation or even share would be appreciated.
