Hola, mi nombre es Francheska Martínez, y me dirijo a usted con el corazón encogido y una necesidad urgente. Estoy luchando contra una fibrosis pulmonar progresiva secundaria a una enfermedad del tejido conjuntivo con enfermedad pulmonar intersticial e insuficiencia respiratoria progresiva. Cada respiración es una lucha - estoy con oxígeno 24/7 y no puedo vivir una vida normal.

A pesar del tratamiento para ayudar a estabilizar mi estado, mi única esperanza real de supervivencia es un trasplante de pulmón que me salve la vida.

Me han remitido a un centro de trasplantes de Florida, donde debo someterme a pruebas médicas exhaustivas para determinar si puedo ser candidato a un trasplante. Para llegar allí, necesito urgentemente transporte en ambulancia aérea debido a mi frágil estado.

Además del trasplante, me enfrento a gastos médicos abrumadores, gastos de viaje y traslado, y cuidados postrasplante a largo plazo.

Hi, my name is Francheska Martinez, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart and urgent need. I am battling Progressive Pulmonary Fibrosis secondary to a connective tissue disease with interstitial lung disease and progressive respiratory failure. Every breath is a struggle—I am on oxygen 24/7 and unable to live a normal life.
