Sexual Assault Victim Support

Hi, my name is Laina. Recently my close friend, Debs was assaulted by a handyman sent by her landlord to make repairs. You can view the Tiktok video she posted here (TW: Language), or the story run by our local news station here. She is a disabled person and could use a lot of support right now.

I've been able to help with daily tasks, emotional support, and fixing the things the handyman was supposed to do but there is so much needed in moving forward and get sense of safety.

I'm raising money to help with legal fees, and displacement costs that have been accumulating.

Additionally, all of the home's furniture and electronics were owned by her previous roommate. This leaves her without a couch, TV, dining furniture, a washer & dryer, and things like rugs, curtains, dishes, etc. I want to make her home as warm and inviting as possible without the additional stresses trying to furnish a home on an SSDI income on top of everything else.
