On 2/7/2026 our close friends, Kevin and Karen Howerton lives changed in an instant.

Kevin was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident that resulted in the loss of his leg. This was no fault of his own. He is currently hospitalized and facing a long, painful road of rehabilitation, and learning how to live again with a prosthetic.

He is a hardworking plumber who has always supported his family through physical, hands-on work. Because of the severity of his injuries, he is unable to work for the foreseeable future, and his family are still waiting to find out when disability insurance will begin. In the meantime, the bills do not stop.

Karen and Kevin have been there for others facing devastating circumstances and now they need our help.

This accident has taken so much from Kevin physically, but it has not taken his strength, determination, or will to rebuild his life.

Any donation, no matter the amount will help relieve some of the financial burden so they can focus on healing and recovery instead of constant uncertainty.
