Help Daisy run again.

Hi my name is Cherie and alot of folk will know my brother Steph and in turn, Daisy his dog.

Steph and Daisy are inseparable. When you see one the other isn't far behind.

A couple of weeks ago we were all down the beach and Daisy being the water baby she is, was straightin the water. The water was up to her tummy when she yelped and hobbled back to the beach. She was not weight baring at all.

We went straight to the vet, they said it was arthritis as Daisy is 10yo. Gave her pain meds and sent us on our way.

We knew something wasn't right. This wasn't arthritis it was an acute injury.

Different vets for a 2nd opinion. It has come back as cranial cruciate ligament rupture in the knee joint. Basically there's nothing supporting or holding daisy's knee in place.

We do have insurance but it will only cover £1000 of the total cost (£3000) of the operation needed to repair her leg.

Daisy needs this operation as without it she will be in constant pain and immobile.

We all know what that means.

Daisy is such a massive part of the family, she is the 4th child. She is also part of our community going on pup dates, getting the neighbours together and playing with the kids.

Everyone who knows Daisy knows what an active, loving dog she is. Everyone literally loves Daisy.
