As many of you already know, my best friend, Autumn Secor, had a devastating fire at her home today. Thankfully, Autumn, Ernie, Carter and Emma (and Harmony and my daughter Trinity) were all able to make it safely out of the house, but they have lost everything to the fire, including Mister, one of their beloved dogs. Autumn has been my best friend for many years, our daughters are best friends as well, and despite the hard times and ups and downs we have had, she has ALWAYS been there for me when I needed her and I love her like a sister and her children like my own. I know that Autumn has touched the lives of many of you, including the family of dog owners she created (with Hurricane and Lily's help), and I have seen so many people already offering to help in any way that they can. Right now, the family is staying in a hotel that has been provided by the Red Cross, but this is very temporary and they currently have no plans for where they are going afterwards. This fundraiser is meant to help them figure that out, and hopefully help to fill the gaps until they can return home, or to another home. I have started this fundraiser tonight because there has not been another one started yet, and every single donation in its entirety will go directly to Autumn and Ernie.
