My dearest friends & family,
I’m reaching out because I’m facing one of the hardest challenges I’ve ever known. As most of you already know, I have been battling 2 types of Stage 3 breast cancer for over a year now. I am still continuing chemotherapy as well as other cancer-related treatments / therapies, including a soon upcoming reconstructive surgery, until the end of 2026 are expected at this time, and while I’m fighting with everything I have, the financial reality has become overwhelming.
Each chemo medication ranges from $71,000 to $124,000 and continue to need other treatments & tests too, and my insurance is refusing to cover the full cost, regardless of my prior appeals. I’ve tried to manage the bills on my own, but they’re now arriving in large amounts and at a pace I can’t keep up with. I’m terrified of them going to collections, or even worse leave me completely broke/homeless, while I’m trying to focus on staying alive and getting through all these treatments.
As you all know, asking for help is not easy for me, but I know now that I can’t do this alone.
If you’re able to contribute, it would directly support my chemotherapy, surgery, & other treatments needing to be paid this year and give me the stability I need to continue treatment without the constant fear of financial collapse.

Vi scrivo perché sto affrontando una delle sfide più difficili che abbia mai affrontato. Come molti di voi già sanno, sto lottando contro due tipi di cancro al seno in stadio 3 da oltre un anno. Sto continuando la chemioterapia e altri trattamenti/terapie oncologiche, incluso un intervento di chirurgia ricostruttiva a breve, fino alla fine del 2026, prevista per ora, e mentre sto lottando con tutto ciò che ho, la realtà finanziaria è diventata schiacciante.
Ogni farmaco chemioterapico costa dai $71.000 ai $124.000 e la mia assicurazione si rifiuta di coprire l'intero costo, nonostante i miei precedenti ricorsi. Ho cercato di gestire le bollette da sola, ma ora arrivano ingenti somme e a un ritmo che non riesco a sostenere.
