Tlyn's Village: Call to ACTION

Tommilyn’s home in hospice, surrounded by love—but the pain is immense and the weight is heavy.

Back in 2017, after being diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer, your love, generosity, and prayers gave Tommilyn Bayong-Dougher more Time.
Time to raise her kids.
Time to fight like only she could.
Time to LIVE.

Today, we find ourselves crying out to that same village—and beyond—maybe more than ever.

If you know Tommilyn, you know her laugh.
Her stubborn strength. Her fierce, unshakable love for Kanaloa and Aariyah.

For those who haven’t had the chance to meet her—she’s spent years facing this fight with grace, grit, and a kind of perseverance that humbles everyone around her. Even in pain, she still finds ways to comfort others.

But, within the last few weeks, things took a rapid turn.
Just shy of her 35th birthday, Tommilyn was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that has now spread throughout her body.
She spent the last month in the hospital on Oahu—away from her
kids—hoping she’d come home stronger.

Instead, on July 14th she returned home to Maui, where her family is doing everything possible to keep her comfortable, cared for, and surrounded by love.

Family, friends, friends of friends- We wouldn’t ask if we didn’t need your help. The financial lift continues to grow and is simply so heavy for our sister and her family to continue to carry alone.

We’re asking our village to please rally with us—to help lift the weight, so Tommilyn and her ʻOhana can focus on what matters most: TIME, presence, and peace of mind.

Your support will help cover the overwhelming costs of care, provide relief for her immediate family, and ensure Kanaloa and Aariyah are wrapped in love and stability during this incredibly fragile season.

And if your heart feels called to do more, we ask this:

Please join us in daily prayer at 6:00 AM HST, from wherever you are.
As the sun rises over Hawaiʻi, lift the Bayong-Dougher ʻOhana—especially Tommilyn, Kanaloa, and Aariyah—in faith, in love, and in hope.

We still believe in miracles. And we still believe in the power of community.

Mahalo for standing with us—again.

With all our love and gratitude,
Her besties of 25 years: Courtney, Tina, Liz, Jesse, Brittany, & Celeste
