Pet Food & Warehouse Forklift Fund
Donation protected
In January 2001 Ten Lives Club non-profit 501(c3) cat rescue and adoption group was started out of Marie Edwards garage in North Boston, NY. In 2015, a “furever” home was purchased in Blasdell NY. February, 2016 marks 15 years of being operational as a rescue & adoption non-profit. This has been accomplished by a very small staff, hundreds of very dedicated volunteers along with countless, generous supporters contributing to enhancing, promoting & furthering over 25,000 cat’s lives through adoptions, rescues, foster care, spay and neuters and in recent years a pet food pantry. Last year alone, Ten Lives took in over 1600 surrenders and adopted out over 1400 cats & kittens. Ten Lives Club relies solely on grants, donations & fundraising to continue this mission. In early April, Ten Lives Club will be breaking ground for a 3,888 sq foot pole barn that will hold all of our cat food, litter and supplies. The warehouse will eventually house a ringworm facility & much more to come!
The Pet Food Pantry is a newer program and relies heavily on donations of food & other items. Currently this pet food pantry is open to individuals, other rescues and non-profit groups feeding feral & strays in the community. Ten Lives Club has been offered the opportunity to purchase a fork lift. The owner of the forklift is graciously going to include some pallet racking (valued at $2000). The fork lift has been on our dream wish list and is very much needed when donated food & litter arrives and has to be unloaded from semi trucks. The pallet racking will allow us to store our food & litter from floor to ceiling, which maximizes space. With the addition of the new warehouse, a forklift & pallet racking will help Ten Lives Club expand their Pet Food Pantry program.
As mentioned previously, donations and fundraising is Ten Lives main source of funding. With this said, Ten Lives doesn't have the necessary funds to purchase this forklift & pallet racking by the March 10th deadline. We need to raise $2200 for this purchase.
Any donation you can make will be appreciated.
