TLC4Troops - Care Packages for Our Troops!

Welcome! TLC4Troops is a 501(c)(3) that delivers "tender loving care" to our Troops via monthly care packages, so on deployment "it's always Christmas!"

I started doing care packages when volunteering at Travis AFB in Northern CA because I saw how few amenities our service members had. And I heard directly from them how lonely deployments can be. Care packages were a small thing that could help enormously. My journey led to some amazing opportunities ... skydives with Navy SEALs ... flying a plane "off a carrier" in a Navy training simulator ... spending 3 days & nights on USS John C. Stennis Tiger Cruise coming home from deployment. It was on the Stennis that I experienced firsthand how hard deployments really are. You can read about it here.

Long hours & food lines, limited supplies, constant running, missing holidays & birthdays & everything! All those sacrifices made to protect you & me ....

THAT's why I do care packages ... because of the joy they bring ... with a loving letter, even from a stranger. The gratitude is astonishing & the need is critical!
