Save my Mother and Brother's family from war in Gaza

Before the horrifying war against Gaza, my mother Itaf was living at Al-Zaytoun neighborhood-northern Gaza strip together with my brother Mohammed, his wife Salwa and his daughters Raseel and Tasneem. (and currently Salam who was born during the war)

My mother has been a kidney failure patient since 2019. and since then she went to Dialysis, blood wash, at Al-Shifa hospital of total 12 hours a week. Below is a report issued by Al-Shifa hospital certifying my mother's health situation:

At the beginning of the war, My mother and my brother's family evacuated to Al-Shifa hospital, and thank God that was the right decision because their appartment was partially damaged due to bombing a neighbor's house.

Due to the Israeli heavy bombing and as the ground invasion approached Al-Shifa hospital, My mother and brother's family hardly managed evacuate to Nasser hospital at Khan-Younis city and stayed there for around one month staying in the hospital's corridors.

Again as the Israeli ground invasion approached Nasser Hospital, they evacuated to Rafah - the far south of Gaza strip - and now they are staying in a poor tent close to Abu-Yusuf Al-Najjar hospital without any source of income and they just get some food from donations.

Currently, my mother goes for blood wash only 4 hours a week compared to 12 hours before the war due to the huge number of patients using few blood washing machines, and that 4 hours are insufficient for cleaning the blood and it is getting my mother's health deteriorated. She often feels suffocated and goes for emergency blood wash process.

As of now, Israeli army decided to invade Rafah. So Abu-Yusuf Al-Najjar hospital will be distroyed the same as Al-Shifa and Nasser hospitals, so there will be no hospital to provide the blood wash for my mother.

So, urgently, I'm kindly asking you to help get my mother out of Gaza to Egypt where she will be safe together with my brother's family and get better medical treatment and blood wash.

I need your help to enable me paying for their travel to Egypt and stay there for at least 2 months or until the end of war, which I couldn't afford by myself alone.

It worth to mension that there are also 4 sisters of mine with their families are living in the same poor situation and in need for help. But for now, I only ask for help in regards of my mother and brother's family which is a critical case.

Crossing borders to Egypt for childs: 3 x $2,500 = $7,500

2 months stay in Cairo (rent and living Expenses): $6,000

أطلقت هذه الحملة لجمع التبرعات على أمل أن نتمكن سويا من إنقاذ وإخراج والدتي وعائلة أخي من الحرب المروعة في غزة.

قبل الحرب على غزة، كانت والدتي عطاف تعيش في حي الزيتون شمال قطاع غزة مع أخي محمد وزوجته سلوى وبناته رسيل وتسنيم وحالياً سلام التي ولدت أثناء الحرب.

والدتي مريضة بالفشل الكلوي منذ عام 2019. ومنذ ذلك الحين وهي تخضع لغسيل الكلى في مستشفى الشفاء لمدة 12 ساعة في الأسبوع. وفيما يلي تقرير صادر من مستشفى الشفاء يثبت الحالة الصحية لوالدتي:

في بداية الحرب انتقلت والدتي وعائلة أخي للعيش في مستشفى الشفاء، والحمد لله كان هذا هو القرار الصحيح لأن شقتهم التي أمضينا سنوات طويلة في بناءها، تضررت جزئياً بسبب قصف منزل أحد الجيران .

بسبب القصف الإسرائيلي العنيف ومع اقتراب الغزو البري من مستشفى الشفاء، تمكنت والدتي وعائلة أخي بصعوبة من الإخلاء إلى مستشفى ناصر في مدينة خان يونس وبقوا هناك لمدة شهر تقريبًا يعانون مرارة العيش في ممرات المستشفى.

ومرة أخرى مع اقتراب الغزو البري الإسرائيلي من مستشفى ناصر، لجؤوا إلى رفح - أقصى جنوب قطاع غزة - ويقيمون الآن في خيمة متواضعة جدا وقريبة من مستشفى أبو يوسف النجار دون أي مصدر للدخل ويعتاشون على بعض المساعدات الغذائية من التبرعات.

حاليا والدتي تذهب لغسيل الكلى 4 ساعات فقط في الأسبوع مقارنة بـ 12 ساعة قبل الحرب بسبب العدد الهائل من المرضى الذين يستخدمون عدد قليل من أجهزة غسيل الكلى، وهذه الأربعة ساعات غير كافية أبدا لتنقية الدم وهذا يؤدي إلى تدهور صحة والدتي حيث بشكل متكرر تشعر بالاختناق وتنقل لإجراء عملية غسيل كلى طارئة.

حاليا الجيش الإسرائيلي قرر أن يغزو رفح أيضا. لذلك سيتم إخلاء مستشفى أبو يوسف النجار وتدميره مثل ما حدث في مستشفى الشفاء وناصر سابقا، ولن يكون هناك مستشفى لغسيل الكلى لوالدتي.

لذا، أطلب كرمكم بشكل عاجل للمساعدة في إخراج والدتي من غزة إلى مصر حيث ستكون آمنة مع عائلة أخي وتحصل على علاج طبي أفضل وغسيل الكلى اللازم.

أحتاج إلى مساعدتكم لتمكيني من دفع تكاليف سفرهم إلى مصر والبقاء هناك لمدة شهرين على الأقل أو حتى نهاية الحرب، وهو الأمر الذي لا أستطيع تحمله وحدي.
