On Wednesday, March 23rd the family of Derrick and Brooke Peacock went to sleep as normal. Around 10:45 pm, their lives were turned upside down.
A fire broke out in their home as they were sleeping and they awoke to a smoke filled house and flames rolling from their kitchen.
Derrick and Brooke did what any parent would have done, they got their children and themselves out, only to see their home continue to succumb to the raging fire.
The family eacaped with injury but they are all alive! Praise God! However, as a result of the fire, they lost everything including their family pet, Sadie.
