Hello reader, thank you for your time. My name is Holly Johnson and I have created this fundraiser on behalf of my mother-in-law, Sonya Johnson.

On New Year’s Eve 2025, Sonya’s house caught fire while she was out of town. Her son, Paul, was house and pet sitting for her at the time.

Tragically, Paul passed away in the house fire.

Our family is absolutely shocked and devastated. The grief we feel is beyond measure, and the holes in our hearts are miles wide.

We’ve had an outpouring of messages and phone calls from friends and family asking how they can help. In an effort to help, and with Sonya’s permission, I have created this fundraiser to help with Paul’s funeral expenses. We humbly ask for your support.
