About Me & My Company
Hello! I am Kelly Mulry a.k.a. TrainerKelly. I run a small publishing company focused exclusively on my original works called TrainerKelly's Network. I also have been a freelance anime artist since 2010, although I am shutting that down in 2017 for good in order to switch my focus to my publishing company.

TrainerKelly's Network has been a long time dream for me. I have always wanted to share my works with the world — not just my artwork, but the stories behind the characters as well — and I am finally starting to do so!

In July 2016, I will be releasing 3 original comics across numerous venues and I hope to roll out more after that. I have many plans for other types of media (short stories, novels, maybe even animation?!), but for right now, I am just focusing on releasing the comics and any sort of merchandise I can roll out alongside it.

That being said, I certainly need help with my business expenses. I know not everyone wants to contribute monthly to me nor do they want to purchase something from my online shop , yet they still want to help me out financially in whatever way they can. I decided to make this GoFundMe campaign to give those who would like to do just that the chance to!

For more information or just general information of my business and what I offer, please head over to http://www.trainerkelly.net . Thank you!

My Target Audience
My target audience for my works are non-elitist anime fans between the ages of 8 to 16 years old, as well as those who are older who are still attracted to works targeted towards that age group.

2017 Ventures
2017 is a blank slate year for me. I've known for a while now it is meant to be a big year for me and I want to ensure that will happen!

I am looking to:
1.) Attend Artist Alley at 1 to 2 conventions a month;

Conventions, both anime-focused and multi-genre conventions are fantastic places to promote my business and my original works! My target audience often shows up at these places and I want to make sure they know my works are out there!

I am hoping to attend conventions both in and out of state. I am going to stay within the New England area (United States) for now unless I end up getting more money than I expect and can travel to other conventions due to the extra money. However, for now, I want to stick with the New England area conventions.

Since some of the conventions I would like to attend are out of range from my family's homes, I need enough money to pay for transportation and hotel fees, plus food during these trips. My low estimate is about $300 for these trips.

2.) Renting a Cart from Malls
Even though my target audience often shows up at conventions, many don't! I do not want to miss an opportunity to reach out to my target audience — and, potentially, a wider audience — by just sticking to conventions and the internet! I want to be out in public. Therefore, I am looking to rent a kiosk cart from a mall (or malls).

I would do these at least once every few months, particularly if there is a month with no conventions (due to none in New England during that particular time) OR if I simply feel like renting a cart.

The cart would be rented for only two days out of a month and would be for about $500 for the weekend (more or less, depending on the area).

3.) Barcodes & ISBNs
I have 3 original comics I am releasing and am going to do even more in the future. Regardless if I use barcodes & ISBNs on what I am currently releasing or what I am releasing in the future, I would still like to have them.

And let me tell you, they are NOT cheap. $250 for 10 ISBNs and $25 per barcode! Geez!! Help me out, thank you!

4.) Copyright Registration
While I already own the copyrights to my works, having everything registered as a safety precaution would be nice. There's a smallish fee for registration, however, that needs to be covered. Your contribution would help with that!

Additional Expenses
Beyond these ventures, there are just some additional expenses that the money may or may not go to (depending on my funds from my other sources and/or there is enough money left over from the main ventures).

Additional expenses may include, depending if my other sources fund me or not:
- paying my help for helping me
- A BUTTON MACHINE AND MATERIALS, DANG IT!
- website & domain renewels
- supply replenishes (photo paper, printer ink, pencil lead, sticker paper, cutting blades, cutting mats, resin, and anything else that may be used to create product)
- book printing (small runs for conventions/carts/online orders)
- merchandise I can't make at home (lanyards are #1 on my list, in all honesty)
- promotional material (pamphlets, signage...and pens. I really, really really want pens...with a stylus)

There may be more expenses beyond that, all business related. I may just not be thinking about it at this particular moment. I will let you know if anything comes to mind!

You Don't Know How Much You'll Help
My business is just starting up. My REAL business. Not the one where I sell my art skills, but the one where I release my stories to the world and, hopefully, inspire people. While there is much I can do for free, there is still more I need to do that requires money.

Your contributions will help me out financially fund my business in all the ways I state above and for that, I am extremely thankful! I don't even think the words would be able to express my gratitude and thankfulness; I hope my actions will show it.

I see this as the first step towards something bigger. Help me grow it into something bigger. Thank you!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
