Medical Supplies for Ukraine

Hello, my name is Oleksandra Petryna, MD. I was born and raised in Ukraine, and although I call the US "home" now - Ukraine will also always be my "home". That is why it's so heartbreaking to see what's happening in my homeland and the endless suffering of my people. It is incredibly heartwarming to see how people have come together across the world to help Ukrainians!

Although everyone's efforts have been great, Ukraine is still in DIRE need of medications to treat the wounded! Currently, a lot of money is being donated to different humanitarian groups. Still, the problem is that those funds must be designated and distributed and materials bought from somewhere. All this takes a long time and logistical coordination - time Ukrainian people don't have. Every day hospitals are sending out messages for donations of medications as they are running out and unable to replenish with the current shortage.

Although I work as a doctor, these medications are very difficult to get unless you are a hospital or a large pharmacy.

Thanks to one of my colleagues and the partnership of their medical office with medical suppliers - we can buy the most needed medications such as antibiotics and analgesics (pain medications) and send them to Ukraine. We ask that you PLEASE donate any amount you are able - every bit helps - so we may get as many as possible of these urgently needed medications. These will be shipped, by plane, through Meest. They will be shipped directly to Doctor contacts in the Lviv hospital and then shipped by car to the East where they are most needed. Thank you so much for your help!   ~ Oleksandra Petryna, MD.
