This is my best friend, Heidi.
She is a happy, loving intrepid explorer, full of energy and life.
She is a blessing that has been by my side, taking part in my career in wildlife conservation, serving critical wildlife, wildlife sanctuaries and critical habitats.
However, she has recently developed a fast-growing spindle tumor; a soft tissue sarcoma on her left leg, below the shin, that was previously misdiagnosed last year by my (now) former veterinarian. The mass is growing exponentially. It is starting to stretch the skin, and if left untreated, will spread and kill her.
An intricate, surgical procedure is required with post-surgery chemotherapy treatment.
I will do anything to keep her spirit intact, and to make sure she is around to enjoy every year that she deserves. But, I find myself financially unprepared to take on this new expense. And since time is not on my side, I need to be creative and humbly ask for your help.

*Please note: Heidi requires a sensitive tumor removal operation process that entails a radiation - chemotherapy treatment post operation. Similar to the process Buster went through in the video. None of this will be easy but Heidi is energetically willing and eager - and therefore so are we. Here we go- with your help!
