Hello friends,
My name is Angelica Jensen and since I started taekwondo at age 13, I've been chasing after my dreams that have now come true! I recently placed first at Team Trials (in Denver, Colorado, August 26-28). This qualified me to be on the US National Taekwondo Poomsae Team . Making the team gives me the honor to represent the USA at the 2016 World Championships in Lima, Peru! Last year I experienced the priviledge of representing the US at the Pan Am Championships in Aguascalientes, Mexico, and I hope for the same at Worlds this coming October! It is a great honor to represent my country, but unfortunately athletes pay for their own traveling costs including: airfare, lodging, food, rental car, ect. I started my first GoFundme at the beginning of this year, and raised almost $1,500. You all helped fund me to go to the 2016 Nationals Championships in Virginia where I placed First! Because Worlds is in less than a month, it will be difficult to raise these funds alone. This is why I am updating my GoFundme. Any donation, of any amount, will be tremendously appriaciated! Thank you all for believing in me and supporting me throughout my journey! It's hard to imagine the young girl who started taekwondo in Kansas (4 years ago) has made it this far!
