بقلوبٍ يعتصرها الحزن والأسى، ننعى أخانا الغالي عامر الخفاجي، الذي وافاه الأجل مساء يوم أمس بعد رحلة حياة حافلة بالصبر والعطاء.

الأخ عامر – يبلغ من العمر ستين عامًا – جاء إلى الولايات المتحدة عام 2014 باحثًا عن حياة كريمة لأسرته، وترك خلفه زوجة مكلومة وابنين يافعَين في عمر الزهور (16 و18 سنة).

بلغ الحزن ذروته حينما تلقت زوجته خبر وفاته، فسقطت مغشيًا عليها ودخلت في غيبوبة استمرت ثلاث ساعات. مشهدٌ يُجسّد عمق الفاجعة التي ألمّت بهذه الأسرة الطيبة.

في هذا الوقت العصيب، تقف أسرة عامر في حاجة ماسّة إلى دعمنا جميعًا لتغطية تكاليف الجنازة والدفن، وهي مصاريف تفوق قدرتهم المادية.

إن أقل ما نقدّمه وفاءً لأخٍ مؤمنٍ عاش بيننا بخلقٍ طيبٍ وسيرةٍ عطرة هو أن نكون عونًا له ولعائلته في لحظتهم الأصعب.

رحم الله فقيدنا برحمته الواسعة ويسكنه فسيح جنّاته.

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear brother Amer Al-Khafaji, who left this world yesterday evening at the age of sixty.

Brother Amer came to the United States in 2014 seeking a better life for his family. He leaves behind a heartbroken wife and two beloved sons, ages 16 and 18. The shock of his sudden passing was so devastating that his wife fell into a three-hour coma upon hearing the news.

This tragedy has shaken everyone who knew Amer — a kind, humble man known for his sincerity and warmth within our community. His family now faces not only immense emotional pain but also the unexpected financial burden of funeral and burial expenses, which they are unable to cover alone.

At times like this, we are reminded of our duty to stand together as one community — to be the support and mercy that Allah has commanded us to be.

Let us honor Amer’s memory by helping his family during their darkest hours. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference and brings comfort to a grieving family in need.
