Believing for Brian
Donation protected
Whether you know him as Brian, Matthew, Mr. D, Mr. Dodson, Coach, Mr. B, or dad, you probably know a little bit about his medical issues. Brian is a 2-time cancer survivor. Due to the chemo/radiation he has dealt with many issues over the past 20 years. Brian has searched and searched for help. There have been many temporary solutions, but no permanent solution or healing. Brian has been fully dependent on his feeding tube. He is unable to swallow food, liquid, or even his saliva. He is unable to sleep consistently due the 30 minutes interruption of spitting out his saliva. He has two stents in his esophagus and a recent hole has been formed. Brian had met with a team of doctors during Easter break to discuss a major surgery. The doctors agreed to the surgery. Brian will be leaving Natchitoches on Sunday, May 3rd to head back to California. On Monday, he will have a procedure performed in which the doctors will attempt to remove the stents. On Wednesday, he will have a major surgery. The Go Fund Me account has been created due to plane, rental car, hotel, and doctor bill costs. Brian is a strong independent man, but as a single teacher it is understood that the expenses are and will continue to be difficult. Cost tallies up quickly due to doctors being across the country, but Stanford Hospital is where he needs to be with the highly qualified, educated, and experienced doctors. Brian is a strong believer in Christ and is believing in full healing. We ask for you to keep Brian in your prayers. Please play for the healing and healthy recovery of our dad.
