Hi Family & Friends,

First, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has reached out due to the recent passing of my mom. You have no idea how much it means to me to have such a caring and supportive network. Many have asked if there is a way to donate to help with whatever my family needs. I am setting this up as a platform for those who have asked. Do what your heart desires; I am just grateful

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer 25 years ago, and she beat Cancer. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with overian or uterine cancer; the exact diagnosis was still being determined. The journey had started about six weeks ago, but the actual battle was merely four weeks ago. She had only one treatment of chemo before things got worse. On Wednesday, 8/24/22, she went in for blood work. A couple hours later, the dr called and said she needed to go to the ER. I rushed to her house, and as we were going to the car, she collapsed in my son's arms I called 911, and the ambulance came on the way to the hospital. Her pulse and heart rate was low. As we got to the hospital, her heart stopped, and she was resuscitated a few minutes after her heart stopped again, and my mom was called to heaven.

I never thought my time with her would have ended so suddenly, and every day has felt like an endless nightmare. I needed my mom a little longer, but god had other plans and needed her more. My parents have been married for 50 years and are two peas in a pod. His pain is unbearable as she is his soul mate.

She is survived by myself, my brother and three grandchildren.
