Last Thursday, May 10th, Gigi and her roommates were woken up at 2:00 in the morning to the sound of breaking glass and explosions. A horrific electric fire that started in the kitchen engulfed the apartment and wreaked terrible destruction in their beautiful home. THANKFULLY no one was hurt but what little the fire didn't destroy was later ruined by smoke and water damage.
Gigi literally escaped with nothing but the bathrobe on her back. Now, anybody who knows Gigi knows that she is one of the most caring and helpful people on the planet. She's done so much for so many of us and now she really needs our help. Let's all come together now and rally in her time of need to help Gigi get through this unbelievable tragedy so that she can start to rebuild her life here in San Francisco, the city she's always called home. Believe us when we say that every little bit helps.

Thank you so much to everybody who has helped with contributions here, personal contributions, and gifts of clothes, transportation, and other necessities. Our girl Gigi is resilient and she's hanging in there doing what she can to get by. There's still so much going on with her day job and all the work with the city inspectors and red cross. It's amazing that she's been able to keep it together but it really is because of her family of friends who have come together to help her out. Thank you, thank you so much, to all of you.
