Let not one more child or family suffer needlessly. Tommie Katherine Ruth Hollis, aka TK, aka Toot-Toot, aka our bowling ball, our beautiful, fun loving, spunky little girl went home to be with our Lord on July 17, 2020 after a tragic pool accident.  She was an amazing little girl that was so full of life and happiness, that she shared those gifts with everyone.  There is not one soul that TK touched that she did not change. She gave her love, compassion, and passion for life freely to all those that she came into contact with. Though her soul has been released from the bonds of this life, she is still affecting those that knew her and beyond. We will continue to share her happy little spirit with the community.  We are starting a foundation in TK's name to raise awareness for pool and swim safety for infants, toddlers, and prekindergarten aged children.  TK may not have been the first child to suffer a tragic poolside accident, but we can make it our goal to use her memory to have a positive impact on the lives of children for years to come. All profits raised through this campaign will be used to create and distribute programs and classes to as many infants, toddlers, and prekindergarten aged children, and their parents, as possible. Programs such as swim safety classes at apartment complexes, the distribution of pool safety and awareness pamphlets and books at public pools and waterparks, scholarships for water survival classes, and financial support for families who suffer through this kind of loss can all be made possible. We have to reach as many people as possible so that we can make the kind of difference in the future that truly honors who TK was.
