Sherryl "TK" Orsak Medical Expenses
Donation protected
My name is Gina Sanders and I am a close friend of Sherryl “TK” Orsak and her family. On July 1, 2018, TK was involved in a major auto accident, along with her sister, Sharon Orsak Johnson; her brother-in-law, Rev. Sheldon Johnson, and her nephew, Ray Johnson. Tragically, Sharon and Ray did not survive the accident and TK and Sheldon sustained major injuries. TK has moved to a rehabilitation center in Austin after both surgery and hospitalization for injuries with her foot and ankle. These injuries currently inhibit her mobility.
TK is unsure of how long her rehabilitation with occupational and physical therapy will take, but it will be a long process. She is also unsure of when she will be able to return to work in the State Comptroller’s office. In addition to the physical recovery, TK has a difficult emotional recovery as well.
In addition to the medical bills TK will face, she is also experiencing a leave of absence from work for an unknown future. Sheldon, Sharon, and Ray had planned to move in with TK in the family home in Smithville and share in the residential bills and upkeep. With the death of Sharon and Ray, TK will face the payment of those bills alone.
Anyone who knows TK has experienced her joyful and serving attitude toward those in need. TK is now the one in need of our assistance. The funds collected will be available only to TK and she will be able to use them when and how she sees fit.
TK faces a long road of recovery and relieving the financial stress of this situation will aid in her healing tremendously. TK has a strong faith in God to carry her through the rough times. This is your opportunity to be a servant of God for His child, TK. Please consider a monetary donation to this fund and keep both TK and her brother-in-law Sheldon in your prayers as they face the new road placed in front of them.
