Autism Service Dog 4 Hollis
Donation protected

With the help of James Kohout of K9 Spectrum in Whitewater, CO, Paula-Ann Been Rosales of Libby's Golden Doodles and Brooke Mitchell-Olson of iTalk, Maengo (aka Mae Mae), an F1b GoldenDoodle, has been in training to be an Autism Service Dog for the past year and is due to meet her "boy" (Hollis) in less than 30 days! As mentioned, she is an F1b goldendoodle and will assist in search and rescue, will prevent and redirect meltdowns and will apply deep pressure by laying on Hollis' legs and or body when he is need of sensory input. She will also help Hollis with feelings of anxiety when in and out of therapies, will notify adults of potential dangers and most importantly, she will give Hollis the independence he so well needs and deserves while out in public.
We are beyond excited to add this much appreciated lifeline to our family! However, in order to do this, we have to get Mae Mae and her trainer, James, here to Massachusetts! This is where we need your help!!! Our family is trying to raise $3,000.00 which will cover the costs of airline transportation, car rental, hotel accommodations and 3 days of intensive training for both Hollis and Mae Mae once united. And if we should surpass our goal, any remaining donations will be given to K9 Spectrum and Libby's Golden Doodles in hopes of helping another Autism family like ours!
Thank you in advance and remember, a little in abundance is a lot! With much love and sincere gratitude, The Palumbo Family
