TJ's recovery fund after being shot

On Tuesday August 8th our beloved friend and community member TJ was shot outside of his home in NorthEast Philly. TJs unwavering support and kindness was sadly met with a senseless act of violence resulting in him pleading for his life and later being shot point blank in his groin. The intervention of nearby witnesses turned what could have been a tragic loss into TJ's story of survival.

TJ was rushed to the ER and promptly underwent surgery. There he remained hospitalized for 6 days. His doctors say it will be a long and harrowing journey until he has full use of his pelvic area and full mobility. With deep concern for TJ’s well-being and in solidarity with his family, I humbly extend this plea to our cherished community. The financial burden resulting from this tragic assault should not compound the physical and emotional hardships TJ and his family are already facing. Having demonstrated unwavering support on numerous occasions, both TJ and Cousin Danny’s family have proven their commitment to their community and neighbors. They've shown strong support across every music scene in Philadelphia, and now it's our turn. Let's support them through this arduous time.
