TJ's Pedaling for Pitties Tri-State Trek

One man, one bike, one day, three states --- all to help save pitties! On August 28, 2021, I will begin a bike ride in Hammond, Indiana and not stop until I am in Kenosha, Wisconsin. All donations benefit It's A Pittie Rescue, a tremendous not-for-profit dog rescue whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pittie breeds and to educate the public about these misunderstood and stigmatized dogs. It's A Pittie has saved thousand of dogs over the years, but the work is never done as the shelters continue to fill. Numerous dogs that would not have had a chance because of injuries or medical conditions have been rescued by It's A Pittie, whose volunteers work tirelessly to help the pitties, fosters, and adopters all succeed. Some pitties come into the rescue with fractures, severe wounds, or other medical conditions that require extensive and expensive veterinary care, but It's A Pittie never passes up on pittes in need and never gives up on those that are brought into the rescue. It's A Pittie also pays for all food, vet care and supplies for those that foster their dogs. No volunteer has, or will, accept compensation for any efforts, so 100% of donations have always been used to rescue and help pitties in need. Every dollar matters, and no donation is too small -- -the next dollar could be what is needed for a pittie to break out of the shelter and get on the road to a forever home and family.
