Hi, I’m Mel and I am fundraising for my mother Debbie. Last week she was diagnosed with non-curative, stage 4 esophageal cancer that has spread to her liver and bones. With treatment, she was given an average expectancy of 12 months. She will be starting chemotherapy next week to slow the spread of her cancer, as well as to help with the symptoms. Due to starting treatment, she is unable to go back to work and has to wait to go onto long term disability.

I am raising funds for her to help with her monthly expenses and to care for her beloved fur babies (3 cats) in hopes that she can remain independent for as long as possible.
