Motocross accident, broken femur, screws & rods!

Hi, my name is Maddison & I’m the spouse too Colton Hulsey, I’m a stay at home mom & my man was the main supporter! We have two kids, Brynleigh Hulsey age (3) & Braxton Hulsey age (2) On October 22nd a motocross accident happened that left our family devastated!! My man, my kids father, my BEST FRIEND was racing and got into a horrible accident that resulted in his femur broken in FIVE places!! He was then taken by ambulance too Muskogee hospital that resulted in us being transferred to Tulsa Saint Francis hospital for emergency surgery that was gonna take HOURS!! After waiting all night for surgery the surgery finally happened at 9:30am on October 23rd he had a rod placed from his hip to his knee, held together by two screws & pins!! We thought we was on the path to recovery when all the sudden his body took a turn for the WORSE!! The Tulsa hospital released him on October 24th without checking his labs, checking for a fever or his wounds, later that night we got home and not even 2 hours later he was running 104 fever & was in severe pain so I decided to call an ambulance AGAIN (back to the hospital we went) That night they took us too SSM Health in Midwest city & immediately ran tests, the nurse decided to admit him an hour later because during surgery he lost 3-4 units of blood at Tulsa and they didn’t catch it or know! That night they started two bags of blood transfusions, meds for the pain & fever, by this point I never thought we was gonna get to go home to be with our kids!! After getting his blood back to where it needs to be October 26th they finally let us go home It’s been exhausting & it’s something I will never wish upon anybody!! He wont be able to work for quite sometime, he worked for bliss construction remodeling houses, he can’t walk on his own, bend his leg, get dressed by himself, shower, use the bathroom or drive!! it’s gonna be a long recovery & a lot of therapy!! With that being said we need all the HELP we can get, colder weather is here the kids will need clothes, Christmas will be here before we know it they’ll need gifts, bills don’t ever stop plus all the other things it takes to survive in this world!
