We are asking the community to step in the help our friend Julie Maze (Purvis) as she battles Breast Cancer. She will be undergoing surgery and post surgery treatment that will require her to be off work for an extended period of time.
Unfortunately, her employer, USPS doesn’t offer any type of short term disability or help. She will have to take the majority of this time off unpaid.
Julie and her husband Rhett are parents of 5 kids. We want to do what we can to help keep the kids in their sports and living their lives as close to normal as possible while Julie fights this.
Those of you who know Julie know that she will be the first to step in and do whatever she can to support others. She always shows up when someone is in need, whether it be financially or showing up with food, or cut your grass. Now is the time that her generosity can be repaid by the friends, family and the community she loves so much.
