On March 14th Nick Gregg, his wife Kalee Gregg and their 8-year-old daughter Lily were issued an IMMEDIATE EVACUATION ORDER by the Anderson California, Fire Department. They had 10 minutes to evacuate.
What once had been a dry A.C.I.D. canal was flooding and over-flowing its banks. They gathered their dogs, a few necessities and important paperwork. Within minutes of the evacuation order, they were knee-deep in horrifically dirty water and sludge inside their entire house. They were only able to salvage 6 bags of personal items.
Literally, everything they owned was destroyed by the flood water.
My Granddaughter Kalee Gregg swallowed her pride and asked if I could set up a GO FUND ME. They have been displaced as restoration crews continue to investigate.
They have been told that their insurance will NOT cover any of the damage, items lost, or cost of relocation. Flood Insurance is a separate policy that they did not have. They are temporarily staying with family and have been in contact with the Red Cross.
The GO FUND ME money will be used to help offset the costs of rebuilding their lives and replacing needed essentials while they struggle to establish a new home in the coming months.
Please consider donating and share the Go Fund Me to your timeline and with your friends. Nick, Kalee and Lily desperately need your help.
