So many of us have worked with and are friends with Cathy for years. She has a big heart for her students, families, and friends.   This last fall Cathy went for a mammogram and then a biopsy. 

Without  getting into too many details she was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma Inset.  Due to COVID-19, Cathy is required to quarantine at her own cost before treatment at Trippler Hospital in Hawaii.  Treatment will require an extended stay in Hawaii.  A number of friends are watching  out for the girls in Okinawa. We all know how Cathy won’t ask for help but she’s the first to offer her help to any in need. 

We are putting this together to help ease the financial worry of quarantine and help lessen the burden of this diagnosis while being far from home.
