Ron's road to recovery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Brandi and I am asking for help on behalf of the Reiter family.
Sunday night, Ron was having slurred speech, loss of function in his left arm and hand, numbness, dizziness, and falling. He went into the emergency room to be evaluated and found out he had an acute ischemic stroke. Through a CT scan, they discovered a 4MM left middle cerebral artery (MCA) brain aneurysm, which can rupture at any time. He is being referred to a neurosurgeon to start the process of having brain surgery to remove the aneurysm.
Ron is a small business owner of R&D Backflow Plumbing and a long-time resident of the Vail and Corona De Tucson area, and he needs our help with trying to navigate through this life-changing event. Ron has some medical issues that make him at higher risk of rupture; he has DVT and Factor V Leiden (which is a rare condition) that is a clotting disorder that requires blood thinners, and high blood pressure.
As you can imagine, this is nerve-wracking not only for Ron but the entire Reiter family. Ron is a hardworking man, a great provider, loves his family, and needs to be able to focus on recovery. We are asking for assistance to help relieve some of the financial burden.
