Tj Timmons - Gone too soon.

Thank you for coming here and taking time to read my GoFundMe. My name is Tyla Timmons. On February 7th, 2023, I received the worst phone call a child could ever imagine - my father, Tj, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep due to cardiac arrest. He was only 64 years old and still had so much of his life to live. Not only was he my father but he was a brother, a nephew, an uncle, a great uncle, a cousin, a best friend and a loving friend. He had touched so many lives.

My world has crumbled before me and no amount of glue or tape could fix the million pieces my heart has broken into. So many emotions have flooded me since receiving the news - overwhelmed, destroyed, lost, vulnerable, confused, the list goes on.

Today, February 10th, I went to the funeral home for the final decisions and signing of the papers. Going into this, I had no idea what to expect or how much everything was going to cost. I want to be able to give my dad the best but I’m not going to lie, even the cheapest options were expensive. Specially for someone in my position who is paying for it all in full. He always talked about wanting to be cremated - he wanted to be spread over the lake we spent every summer on while I was growing up and I want to give him that. What I didn’t know was all of the other smaller but important and costly things that also come with wanting to give him that. Everything is happening too quick. Quicker than I would liked. I haven’t had time to really grieve him leaving or grasp reality that this really happening. His service is less than a week away and realistically, I won’t be able to cover all of the cost.

This is a large amount to ask for help with in such a small amount of time but truly anything would help. Even sharing the link.
