Remembering T.J. Antaya
Donation protected
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Thomas "T.J." Antaya (30) on February 28, 2020.
In March of 2013, at age 24, Dr.'s discovered a very rare tumor "Pleomorphic Xantho Astro Cytoma" in TJ's brain. Five days later they removed it. To no avail the tumor returned twice after that, followed by 2 more grueling brain surgeries, then 6 weeks of successful radiation. He was doing so much better until he started suffering from significant damage to his central nervous system. This was all caused by mismanagement of a very powerful medication called "Haldol" given to him by the Dr.'s and medical staff..This led to months of physical, occupational and speech therapy. After suffering from seizures on one occasion last year, he dislocated his shoulder, which turned everything for worse. Damage to his arms, legs, and loss of eyesight in both eyes had left him completely bed ridden, unable to move, eat, drink or even talk. On Friday, after a long, hard fought, painful battle, he passed away at Home surrounded by his Family....T.J. loved Photography, creating Art and was a kind, beautiful soul. His life touched alot of people and his light and memory will live on....
Thomas was taken care of at Home by his loving Mother Jan, which has left her unable to work for over 5 years, and there are large expenses to come Funeral, cremation etc..
Please consider any size donation to help decrease the burden which this loving family has dealt with....
Much love and thank you... Marco.....
