Tizi N’Oucheg, Morocco, Earthquake Appeal

My name is Gareth and I am fundraising to donate money to a community in the High Atlas Mountains, Morocco, that are appealing for donations so they can buy blankets, food, water and supplies for those who have lost everything in the earthquake. In July, I travelled to Morocco as part of a school group to take part in community project work. We stayed in two villages; the first was only around 15km from the epicentre. So far I have been unable to contact anyone we know there and fear the worst. The second village we stayed and worked in was around an hours drive away. I have managed to contact the guide who looked after us there. He and his family have survived, but others in the village and the surrounding areas have not been so fortunate. The photo on the cover page is one of his neighbours who has lost everything. So far, no emergency support has yet to reach his village. I asked him what we could do to help. His community has set up an account for people to send donations so they can initially buy much needed supplies and then eventually help people to start rebuilding their homes. Please help this community by donating anything you can to this page so I can send them over some funds to help them. I know that any money donated directly to this community will be used for its intended purpose.
